SGS student in Japan

School of Global Studies (SGS) study abroad student Gino Makhawee endures a major typhoon, airport closures, an all-night relief flight from Bangkok to Nagoya, and sleeping in front of a Family Mart next to a bus depot so he would be the first in line at 5 AM for a ticket to Kyoto where he will soon begin his studies as a scholarship student at the world-famous 立命館大学/Ritsumeikan University. Dedication, perseverance, motivation…all unique characteristics of SGS students traveling the world.
