Wai Kru Ceremony

The annual Wai Kru Ceremony, a longstanding ritual in which Thammasat University students pay respect to their instructors in order to express their gratitude as well as to formalize the student–faculty relationship, was recently held on September 13, 2018. School of Global Studies (SGS) students Nittha Weesommai and Jettavat Vuttipakdee presented the SGS distinguished professors in attendance with a beautiful array of traditional Thai flowers. In addition, three students from the School of Global Studies (Suchat Niha, Yadarun Komata and Jiraya Tippayaamnat) received awards for high academic achievement, and an additional SGS student, Sukontha Nilyok, also received an award for exemplary behavior and service for 2018. Congratulations to one and all!
