GSSE students win at Big Toy Design 2017

The 2nd Runner Up
The BIG (Bangkok International Gift fair) Toy Design awards is an annual 3-month workshop and competition that is open to students and designers from all over Thailand to participate in and win prize money and an opportunity to get their products produced by a manufacturer.
At this year’s awards, two of Thammasat University students, Ms.Butsaratip Santisutham and Ms.Nattha Premruetai, students from the School of Global Studies, who teamed up with Mrs.Ornanong Sihsobhon from Jiratcha Co.,Ltd., Mrs.Piengrudee Chaichoomsak from Big production Co.,Ltd. and Ms.Pakamas Amorndilokkul from Channapatana International Design Institute, won 2nd Runner Up at Big Toy Design 2017.  Their team, called Team Rabbit Play, produced a winning design entitled ‘Shy Little Pal’, It is a wooden story book with interactive lights and sounds. The concept behind the toy is to enhance children’s imagination, language, communication development and strengthen relationships between family members.
The event was hosted by the Thai Toy Industry Association and the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce.
