Eligibility Criteria


1. Applicants must have completed high-school. 
If not, we require GED, IGCSE, GCSE, GCE 'O' Level, GCE 'AS', NCEA as an equivalent certification.


2. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 2.5. All students must submit at least 4 semesters of transcript.

If you have studied abroad, also submit the transcript of that year.

1.     Official high school diploma

·       If you are studying in 12th grade and have not received your high school diploma, you may submit a certificate of student status issued by your school instead.

·       We also accept equivalent diploma i.e. GED, IGCSE, GCSE, GCE 'O' Level, GCE 'AS', and NCEA.

2.     Official transcript

·       Your high school transcript and CGPA must cover at least 4 semesters of high school education.

·       The minimum CGPA requirement for your application to be evaluated is 2.50 in a 4.00 scale.

·       If your transcript is not in a 4.00 scale, please have it officially converted by your school or the Thai Ministry of Education and submit both transcripts.

·       If you are submitting an equivalent diploma, we still require you to submit your latest high school transcript along with the transcript from your examination.

·       If you are an exchange student and your transcript doesn't cover 4 semesters of high school education, please contact your school or take GED exam instead.

·       GED minimum score of each subject not lower than 145.

·       IGCSE, GCSE, or GCE 'O' Level minimum grade of C for at least 5 different subjects.

·       GCE 'AS' minimum grade of C at least 3 different subjects.

·       NCEA please refer to NCEA Level 2 Matthayom 6 equivalence criteria.


3.     English proficiency score

·       You need to submit one of the following English proficiency test scores: TOEFL, IELTS, or TU-GET

·       The minimum score requirement for each test is:

·       TOEFL

·       Computer based 173

·       Internet based 61      

·       Paper based 500

·       IELTS 6.0

·       TU-GET 500

4.     Identification

·       If you are a Thai citizen, please scan and submit copy of your national identification card.

·       If you are a citizen of countries other than Thailand, please scan and submit the identification page of your passport or identification card.

·       If you hold dual Thai citizenships or more, please provide the documentation of the citizenship you are applying as.       

5.     Examination fee of 500 THB

·       You are required to take GSSE specific subject examinations.

6.     Portfolio

·      If you are interested in applying to study at GSSE, it is required for you to bring in a portfolio of your activities relating to GSSE along with the other documents on March 25, 2018. Please feel free to create your own portfolio in however ways you wish, but keep in mind that it should not exceed 10 pages or the extra pages may not be reviewed and it must be created in English.



Please note that we do not tolerate plagiarism of any kind at GSSE. Applicants who do so will automatically be disqualified from the GSSE admission.


For international students, a certified copy of the High School Equivalency Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education (Thailand) is required upon registering to Thammasat University. International students from Myanmar and the Philippines must take GED or other high school equivalency tests.
