Requirements for the BA in Global Studies and Social Entrepreneurship

Thank you for your interest in studying with us, in order to complete your application we will need further information from you. If you have any questions please feel free to email us directly at gsse.admission@sgs.tu.ac.th

 1. Official high school diploma / GED (if completed)

  • If you are studying in 12th grade and have not received your high school diploma, you may submit a certificate of student status issued by your school instead.
  • We accept the equivalent diploma, i.e., GED, IGCSE, GCSE, GCE ‘O’ Level, GCE ‘AS’, IB, and NCEA Official transcripts.
  • GED minimum score of each subject is 165.

2. Transcript

  • High School Transcript (consist of at least 4 semesters) OR
  • Applicant submitting GED must score 165 and above on all subjects OR
  • Applicant submitting IGCSE must have IGCSE, GCSE or GCE ‘O’ Level at least 5 subjects with minimum Grade of A*-C and with supporting the following scores: (1) GCE ‘AS’ Level at least 5 subjects OR (2) GCE ‘A’ Level at least 3 subjects, with minimum Grade of A*-E  OR
  • Applicant submitting NCEA must completed at least 80 credits in total: (1) Completed level 2 subjects or higher with at least 60 credits AND (2) Completed level 1 or higher at least 20 credits

3. English proficiency test score (one from the list below)

  • TuGET (500 and up)
  • TOEFL paper-based (500 and up)
  • TOEFL computer-based (173 and up)
  • TOEFL Internet-based (61 and up)
  • IELTS (6.0 and up)

4. Identification (Scanned copy of the identification page of your passport or Thai identification card)

5. Portfolio

A portfolio will highlight your past activities and achievements and how they relate to GSSE.

This area will be where you can explore your creativity and impress our judges.

6. Statement of Purpose

The Statement of Purpose is an essential part of your application that will tell the admissions committee who you are, what has influenced your career path so far, your professional interests and where you plan to go from here.

7. Pay the Application fee

Please print the application processing fee pdf, you will have to find your nearest Krungthai Bank to complete payment with this print off. Unfortunately this can only be done in person at the bank. Once payment is complete please send us a photo copy of your receipt – please do this as soon as possible so we can start processing your application.
