  • Applicants whom is accepted in GSSE admissions round 1 or 2

How can I apply?

  1. When you start your GSSE Application, please indicate your request for financial aid at the bottom of your application form.
  2. If you are invited to interview for the program, you will have a separate interview to determine whether you will receive a scholarship.
  3. Complete our online GSSE Scholarship application (you will be requested to submit supporting documents in the scholarship application form).

What are the Supporting documents to apply for the scholarship?

  • Statement of purpose 

    The Statement of Purpose should be about one page long and is geared towards your financial needs, academic performance and leadership potential. This part will tell us a lot about who you are, so you want to make sure that this is well written and organised. 

    Areas we are looking in your scholarship statement of purpose:

    Financial Needs: We want to see that you have a demonstrated financial need. We take into account your family background and the availability of other financial means to support your studies at GSSE.

    Academic Performance: We want to see your exceptional academic performance during high school. We are looking for your academic ability and potential to flourish at GSSE.

    Leadership Potential: We look for leaders who have the potential to change the world. As such, we want to see that you have made notable contributions to your community. We want to see your enthusiasm, energy, and depth of commitment towards social change that you can bring to our community.

  • Parents financial statements

Where do I submit my supporting documents?

All supporting documents can be submitted in our online scholarship application form.

How will I be evaluated for financial aid?

  • We review requests for financial aid holistically, focusing on a student’s financial needs, academic performance, and leadership potential.

  • Financial Need: We are required to determine that you have a demonstrated financial need. We also take into consideration your family background and the availability of other financial resources to support your studies at GSSE.

  • Academic Performance: An additional criterion for determining eligibility for financial assistance is exceptional academic performance during high school. On this basis will evaluate your academic ability and potential to excel in your studies at GSSE.

  • Leadership Potential: We look for leaders who have the potential to change the world. As such, we want to determine that you have made notable, extracurricular contributions to your community. We want to see your enthusiasm, energy, and the depth of commitment towards social change that you will bring to our program.

TUITION

Tuition fee for Thai students

The tuition fee for Thai students is 72,000 THB/student/semester, on average, a Pre-Program Orientation fee of 25,000 THB, and an additional fee of 14,500 THB for each summer program enrolled. Note that the abovementioned tuition fees represent only estimates based on the current GSSE curriculum. Additional credit hour fees (3,000 THB/credit) may be charged subject to elective courses enrolled.

Tuition fee for international students

The tuition fee for international students is 82,000 THB/student/semester (approximately $2,700 USD) on average, a Pre-Program Orientation fee of 25,000 THB, and an additional fee of 19,000 THB for each summer program enrolled (approximately 680 USD). Note that the abovementioned tuition fees represent only estimates based on the current GSSE curriculum. Additional credit hour fees (3,000 THB, approximately 100 USD)/credit may be charged subject to elective courses enrolled.

Additional expenses

Dormitory nearby Thammasat Rangsit campus may range from 3,500-6,500 THB/month (approximately 100-200 USD) depending on your living preferences. Living expenses, including meals and transportation, may range from 5,000-10,000+ THB/month (approximately 150-300+ USD) depending on your personal financial management.
