AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION & CONCENTRATION

Pearl Phaovisaid is a lecturer at the School of Global Studies, Thammasat University. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in management at the Cambridge Judge Business School. Her research focuses on organizations, emotions and institutions, embodiment, and extreme contexts. Prior to academia, Pearl served as a US Army aviation officer and UH60 helicopter pilot. She is a combat veteran of Iraq and her global assignments comprised leadership, staff, and instructional roles. She leverages lived experiences and qualitative research methods to advance management knowledge, facilitate student learning, and support communities at large.
