AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION & CONCENTRATION

Having completed a master’s degree in International Construction Management & Engineering from the University of Leeds with a thesis on the Impact of Credit Crunch on PF/PPP projects, Dr. Santi’s awareness was raised about the importance of multidisciplinary approaches to investigating various issues intertwined among the social and economic infrastructure, inspiring him to doctoral study at the University of Manchester.
In addition to helping to run a family construction and real estate business, Dr. Santi has always been intrigued about how to holistically integrate a body of practice and knowledge. Beginning his academic journey at SGS, he has had the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience in business and entrepreneurship with students and to keep abreast with social and economic issues around him, such as the energy transition, his current research interest. Issues such as financing the construction of new renewable energy projects and managing project risks are where his experiences and subject teaching align and are brought together.

Institutional and organizational change issues e.g., continuities and change in organizational strategies; energy transitions both in a process- and project-oriented focus; case study and archival research, ethnography and modelling
