Viria Vichit-Vadakan is a co-founder of GSSE: Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Social Entrepreneurship, School of Global Studies, Thammasat University and SOL: School of Leadership, an impact entrepreneur and educator with over 15 years of experience building technology solutions and education programs to advance education and career opportunities across the US and APAC.
SOL develops the next generation of impact leaders through a values-based curriculum designed to cultivate the critical character traits required to address complex social and environmental challenges, delivering leadership training for organizations including the Obama Foundation’s Girls’ Opportunity Network and the New York-based Youth Climate Justice Fund.
Prior to SOL, Viria founded a four-year Bachelor of Arts program in Global Studies and Social Entrepreneurship at Thammasat University’s School of Global Studies, graduating close to 500 young changemakers across Southeast Asia, and established a JP Morgan Chase-backed Social Innovation Lab that helped 25 social enterprise organizations scale their impact. She has also held roles in education technology at IDEO, Meta, Harvard Business School Online, and Learn Corporation, and contributed to COVID-19 relief efforts in reskilling with the MIT Media Lab and the United Nations.
She serves as an Advisor to the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) and co-leads an Educational Action Lab focused on AI, partnering with government schools to equip teachers and students with AI-powered tools that strengthen reading literacy, critical thinking, and a growth mindset.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, a Master’s of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, and an Executive Coaching Certificate from the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute, UC Berkeley. She was selected as an Obama Leader in 2018 and serves on the board of Generation.org Thailand, a global workforce-skilling nonprofit.
