Launched in 2019, the MAS program has quickly established itself as a global leader in the field. Our faculty includes experts from across the globe—United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Armenia, the Netherlands, and Thailand—many of whom have worked with international organizations such as UNDP, UNESCAP, UNICEF, ITU, and UNIDO. Others bring deep expertise from grassroots initiatives and social enterprises.
Our student and alumni community is equally diverse, representing regions like Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. This mix of recent graduates and seasoned professionals contributes to a vibrant, collaborative environment focused on creating an inclusive, just, and sustainable future.

“Graduating from the Education sector, I had one year experience in teaching French language at Rangsit University before switching to working in Officience, a French Vietnamese mission-driven IT company in Vietnam as a project manager and community development officer for 2 years.
What bring me to the master program at SGS are my curiosity about sustainability and my passion for helping people recognize their power and make proper daily-life decisions to have a better impact on their surroundings including the society and environment. In this program, the first and most important lesson I have learned, especially in the Global Systems course, is to research and analyze problems from different perspectives of stakeholders and sectors in order to truly understand them and find optimal solutions for sustainable development.”

“During the program, we got a chance to explore a variety of learning experiences. We had developed our social and practical skills through experience-based, hands-on courses such as Design thinking and Grounded immersion. We met, developed conversations, and exchanged experiences with real practitioners, experts, and social impact drivers from different panel discussions. We were also provided with many theories and crucial concepts through the courses to build more solid academic and research background.”

“One of the best parts of the program is the other students. This program has attracted professionals from extremely diverse backgrounds which means we get great perspectives in class. Also, our teachers are a blend of traditional academics and practitioners which means we get to learn important theories and at the same time we’re getting very practical tools. I’ve been able to apply a lot of the content to my work almost instantly.”
