The School of Global Studies at Thammasat University is pleased to offer a unique opportunity to earn a single (MA) or dual degree (MA and MBA) in cooperation with the Sustainability Management School of Switzerland.

The dual degree program in Social Innovation and Sustainability and Business Administration has been specifically designed to enhance the learner’s knowledge, ability and skills in order to navigate and succeed in today’s increasingly complex and interconnected world. The MAS-MBA program is a unique graduate-level program that defines sustainability and social innovation from a socio-political perspective and which combines innovation, sustainability analysis and business management within the context of cross-sector collaboration and inter-regional and international capacity building. Using the case study method, the principles of sound business management and the development of practical applications to real world problems, the program is tailor-made for collaborative learners and innovative thinkers who appreciate cultural diversity, interdisciplinary understanding and creative problem-solving. The program has as its focus global sustainability, development, management and the challenges of human security through social innovation and human-centered design.

How Does the Dual Degree (Optional) Work?

In addition to completing the required courses for the Master in Social Innovation and Sustainability (MAS) Degree, students opting to take the SUMAS’ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sustainability Management Degree Program must successfully complete the additional 21 credit worth courses from SUMAS. Students can transfer their 24 credits from MASS towards the MBA.

Students opting to take the MBA will have to pay an additional amount of USD 3500 to SUMAS.

Tuition and Fees

MA in Social Innovation and Sustainability

Tuition fee for Thai students

The tuition fee for Thai students is 257,710 THB/student/year, on average, for the MA Program Tuition, with an additional of 3,500 USD/student/year (approximately 109,000 THB) for the optional MBA program. Please note that the abovementioned tuition fees represent only estimates based on the current MA+ MBA curriculum.

Tuition fee for International students

The tuition fee for international students is 298,210 THB/student/year (approximately 9,550 USD), on average, with an additional of 3,500 USD/student/year for the optional MBA program. The MBA portion of the program can be conducted completely online concurrent with your MA Program of study.
