On 7th January 2022, Asst. Prof. Prapaporn Tivayanond Mongkhonvanit, PhD., (Dean of School of Global Studies) represented our school and Thammasat University in the ‘International Online Seminar: Learning on World’s Sustainability Contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)’ (国際オンライン・セミナー : 「世界の持続可能性を考える―SDGsへの貢献」) as guest lecturer.

This was a collaborated seminar to introduce university students to critical Sustainability and SDGs models, through a series of seven classes given by the School of International Studies, Utsunomiya University; the Center for the Multicultural Public Sphere; and the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University.

On that day, the Dean of School of Global Studies gave a two-hour lecture on her specialized topic of ‘SDGs on Campus: Policies, Research and Practices’ to a class of students from Utsunomiya University, Japan. “It is refreshening to see that univeristies are now expanding our collaboration and frontiers of knowledge for the students’ benefits.”, said Asst. Prof. Mongkhonvanit.
