
September 9, 2023, Bangkok, THAILAND – Thamassat University School of Global Studies (SGS) recently held an exciting mini-hackathon workshop for high school students between 16 and 18 years old interested in social entrepreneurship and social innovation. The G-Hack: Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation Workshop 2023 was a full-day event at the Puey Ungphakorn Centenary Hall and Park, Thammasat University Rangsit Campus.
The workshop was designed to equip students with practical knowledge, valuable insights, and tools to impact their communities through entrepreneurship. The event was a huge success, with engaging in a collaborative hackathon-style experience.





During the workshop, students worked in teams to develop impactful project proposals in a condensed time frame. The participants were highly creative and committed, making the competition challenging for the judges.
“FitHug” was crowned the champions of G-Hack 2023, thanks to their groundbreaking application designed to enhance mental and physical health. The team comprises Aittichet Witeepanich, Chinmay Dash, Worawee Thavarabha, Tanapol Sukhumthamarat, and Napat Salee. Their app offers tailored coaching, access to mental health experts, and advanced AI technology to assist people in achieving their best mental and physical state.
The first runner-up was “Pak Gor Me Huajai,” a team comprising Chonnikan Wachirapong, Hemisa Pinweha, Nichakarn Srimora, Pitsinee Chantarothai, and Natapat Pracha.
The second runner-up was “Eco-Tracker,” which was developed by Ingboon Boonyapabhat, Pawida Wongrujirawanich, Ardchavit Pattanapaisal, and Jiramate Jirapongwatcharakorn.
The G-Hack 2023 was an excellent opportunity for students to learn more about social entrepreneurship and innovation. It’s an ideal platform for students to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills while positively impacting their communities. The success of this year’s event shows a lot of potential for young people to make a difference in the world, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the participants of the G-Hack.
