Great news for aspiring photographers and advocates! The ‘Unmasking the Tobacco Industry in a Single Frame’ Youth Photography Contest has officially extended its submission deadline to 20 October 2025, and has significantly increased the prize money to further reward impactful storytelling.
This gives students at Thammasat University and young creators (ages 13-35) a greater opportunity and incentive to use their artistic vision to expose the deceptive tactics of the tobacco industry.

Participants are challenged to capture a single, powerful image that tells a story. The goal is to creatively expose the various ways the tobacco industry’s tactics impact our lives. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
- Ads and promotions targeting youth, both online and in public spaces.
- The marketing of vaping and new tobacco products.
- The environmental impact of tobacco, such as litter and pollution.
- Misleading social media promotion and corporate sponsorships.

- 1st Place: $1000 USD
- 2nd Place: $500 USD
