The GSSE Open House 2024 at Thammasat University was nothing short of remarkable! Taking place on November 8th and 9th at the SC3 building, this two-day event brought together enthusiastic high school students, parents, and educators from around Thailand and beyond. They explored our unique program, which blends global studies, social entrepreneurship, and sustainability.
Themed booths hosted by our vibrant GSSE clubs highlighted different facets of life and learning in GSSE:
- Changology Booth: Hosted by our dedicated student ambassadors, this booth was a favorite among attendees. The Sustainability Roulette game introduced students to the Sustainable Development Goals in a fun and engaging way, with a taste of what’s in store at the upcoming ChanGology Camp 13.
- Venture Collective Network Club: Breaking down misconceptions, this booth illustrated that GSSE is about fostering social impact through business skills, engaging young minds in the exciting world of social innovation and entrepreneurship.
- International Student Club: With a “Spectrum of Colors” theme, this booth celebrated the diversity of our GSSE community. High school students and their parents enjoyed interactive games and learned about our vibrant, inclusive environment.
- G-Hack Booth: Bringing innovation to life, this booth showcased our annual hackathon, co-organized with Reactor School. With an SDGs matching game, students practiced critical thinking and teamwork, gaining a taste of GSSE’s commitment to social responsibility.
- Portfolio Consultation Corner: This dedicated space allowed students to receive personalized guidance on GSSE admissions, with senior students and faculty offering insights on portfolio preparation, application tips, and financial aid.
The event successfully showcased the GSSE’s unique approach, blending academic rigor with real-world applications to inspire the next generation of global leaders. We are excited to see how these experiences will shape the journeys of our future changemakers!
