SGS Brown Bag Series 2021-2022

.
SGS Brown Bag Series 2021-2022
.
Our in-house research seminar series is an informal forum where our faculty present their current workin progress, give presentations on recently published work, discuss their findings, talk about future research projects, or give practice talks for conferences. The Series is intended to stimulate the sharing and discussion of new and innovative ideas in our respective areas of expertise and get feedback from fellow colleagues.
.
Ideally, we wouldlike to have a quorum of at least seven in attendance for every session to generate rich, constructive, and lively discussions so please do consider attending and participating in our bi-monthly meetings. Our seminar usually takes placein-person in the main meeting room on the 7th floor where lunch and light refreshments are provided but since the Seminar now takes place virtually, please make sure that you are enjoying your lunch along with the presentation!
.
Starting next semester, we will invite our graduate students to present and share their research projects with us, which is a great opportunity for our MA and PhD students to engage and exchange ideas with fellow colleagues and with faculty, as well as establish interdisciplinary networks. So, let’s use our lunch break to learn from one another, and inform ourselves about recent developments in the field as we continue to build our vibrant and diverse community of practitioners and researchers. Each meeting is an hour long and always consistsof an exciting line-up of different presenters who are engaged in some very interesting research work. Everyone is welcome and we hope to see you!
