THAMMASAT UNIVERSITY’S INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IN THAILAND WELCOMES UC STUDENTS FOR A TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCE
June 21, 2023, Bangkok, THAILAND – Thammasat University’s School of Global Studies is hosting University of California (UC) students in an internship program in Thailand during Semester 3 of the Academic Year 2022. The program allows participants to become exchange students of Thammasat University and enroll in the Senior Project course. Upon completion of the internship, SGS and the organization where the student interned will collaborate to assess their accomplishments and transfer the results to their home university for graduation.
This program is tailored for UC students studying global studies, international relations, development studies, and similar fields. Students will intern with organizations focusing on education, healthcare, environmental protection, and social justice. The internship will last eight weeks, from June 26 to August 18, 2023.
Participating in this internship program is an excellent way for UC students to gain practical experience in development work and learn more about Thai culture and society. It also provides a chance to connect with other students and professionals worldwide.
