March 24 election of Thailand saw a surge in young people in the parliament. While the spotlight was on Future Forward Party, other parties enthusiastically fielded young candidates in the field. Four months have passed since these candidates joined the parliament. In this context, we discuss some pertinent issues these young members are experiencing as first-time parliamentarians.

How do they identify issues/concerns to voice in the parliament? How do they prepare? What are the opportunities for young people in politics? What are some of the challenges they face? How are they challenging the status quo within the party? Constituency? And the Parliament? How well do they collaborate with other parties? What are the challenges and opportunities for political parties to have more young people in the seat?

We meet with the speakers from different political parties to explore what it means to be the first time in the parliament?
